Novi Sad will host the regional round of European BEST Engineering Competition – EBEC Balkan. The regional round will be held from the 9th to the 13th of May. This would be the first time that BEST Novi Sad has organised an engineering competition of this size and manner. Let’s get to know them a little better because the competition is getting closer.
BEST Novi Sad was founded in 2005 at the University of Novi Sad and is one of 97 local BEST groups, which together create a well-organized, young and innovative student network.
They currently have over 40 active members.
BEST Novi Sad organized 9 local engineering competitions, 13 international academic seminars and 3 volunteer trainings.
Novi Sad is the second largest city of Serbia, the capital of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, and the administrative center of the South Bačka district. It is located in the southern part of the Pannonian plain, on the border of the geographical regions of Bačka and Srem. Bordering the banks of the Danube river, the town faces the northern slopes of Fruška Gora mountain.
We still have to witness how Novi Sad will rock EBEC Balkan. The Core Team consists of students from Niš, Belgrade and, of course, Novi Sad. They are working to make this the best EBEC Balkan yet. Stay tuned!
